Well I made it through another Monday. I have to admit, my Monday's are not as bad as they could be. I have the mornings off, and do not have to babysit until about 3:30. So I get to sleep in, then come to work and sit on the couch until dinner time. The boys I watch are getting older so they entertain themselves. I just make sure they are fed, bathed, not fighting, and where I can see/hear them, all while getting a nice pay at the end of the week. Pretty great, huh? So as I am sitting here with my Kindle Fire and my tervis tumbler full of coffee, just finished catching up on RHONJ and Keeping up with the Kardashian's (don't judge me) I am currently trying to decide on a new book to download. I already posted about how I finished The Hunger Games, and even though I really enjoyed it, I don't want to jump right into the next one so soon. I saw the movie and I loved it too, but I want to watch it again (maybe on dvd) until I try to finish the last two books in the trilogy. Is that weird? Oh well. I did just finish reading Sophie & Carter by Chelsea Fine and it was fabulous. It is a quick read, good for a rainy day or a night in, but it is such a sweet story that fills you with so many emotions, you will probably read the whole thing in one sitting like I did.
I have been seeing 50 Shades of Grey on so many blogs but I read a few reviews about it being too racy and not well written, so I am not even going to bother with it. Supposedly it is being made into a movie with K. Stew and Rob as the lead roles....maybe they should just stay vampires. Anyways, here are a few books I have been looking into to read this summer. If you have read any of them, let me know. I've done a few other posts about needing help finding good books and these are some of my responses I got via e-mail:
Anyone read any of these? I am a total chick-lit kind of person. Anyways, there is an awesome giveaway over at Life is aMAYESing. If you want to know how to enter, check out her blog! Hope y'all have a great night!
