Where I've Been...

Wondering where I've been? Let's recap.

On Thursday, the boy and I decided to take the whole day off and travel to Raleigh to the state fair. We had a blast. We rode all kinds of rides, and won all kinds of prizes..no joke. We got suckered into playing more rigged fair games than we rode rides. We felt like 10 year olds again. My hoop shoot champion of a boyfriend won me two stuffed animals, and my sweet dart throwing skills won me a stuffed rose. We ended the night with a Ferris wheel ride as the sun was setting.

We named this guy Heyward....please excuse my fair hair and my squinty eye .

This weekend we traveled to see Sam's brother and sister-in-law Brett and Sara. Brett is the defensive coordinator at North Greenville University, so we went to watch the third home football game with them, Sam's parents, Brett's friend Ben, and one of Sara's best friends Jess. It was fun getting to spend time with everyone and watch another Crusaders Victory. After the game we went out to eat at the cutest restaurant called the Mason Jar in downtown Greer. Any place where you can get sweet tea in a mason jar is the place to be. It was fabulous. To top off the night Sara, Jessica and I stayed up until nearly one in the morning having some girl time talking about anything and everything. It was really nice to be able to spend time and converse with such Godly women. I always love spending time with the Hickman's and appreciate them treating me like their own.

Mrs. Hickman. Love this woman.

Go Crusaders!

We got home this evening around six, and got to spend a little time with my family. We came home to fresh collards, baked turkey, and a bigger baby belly for my sister-in-law.

Jenn at 24 months. Look at how big Lilly is growing! Can't wait to meet my niece!

That's all for now!
Hope your weekend was fabulous!
